Buss Shipping installs PureSOx scrubbers

Two containerships operated by Hamburg-based Buss Shipping will install PureSOx scrubbers from Alfa Laval in early 2016 – a move said to secure valuable fuel economy in the competitive charter market.

The hybrid scrubber systems from Alfa Laval will be installed on Buss Shipping vessels operating entirely in ECAs, and frequently in low-alkalinity waters
