Hybrid SOFC propulsion partnership announced

Lloyd’s Register (LR), HD Korea Shipbuilding & Offshore Engineering (HD KSOE) and HD Hyundai Heavy Industries (HD HHI) are teaming up to develop an advanced hybrid propulsion system for LNG carriers, integrating solid oxide fuel cell (SOFC) technology.
