Major new Asian contract for Stadt

“Stadt aims to be a world-leading supplier of electric propulsion systems for ships. We are now well on our way to reaching our goal,” said Hallvard Slettevoll , CEO of Stadt.

The order includes a total of 16 patented Stadt Staschno No-Loss drive systems, the fifth generation of the technology, for newbuild AHTSV ships.

Delivery will include all electric propulsion systems on board the various vessels, as well as automation.

Stadt said that this contract is by far the largest received in its 28 year history.
