RINA type approval for Fortjes drive

Reintjes says that class society RINA has completed extensive tests and inspections and granted type approval to the Fortjes drive, making it the only podded drive in this power range with class approval.

“The permission to conduct inspection and approval procedures ourselves underlines and confirms that Reintjes product and process quality exceeds the classification societies’ demands on this high-class segment,” said customer relationship manager Dr Henning Brunk of RINA.
