SCR test for Fairplay tug

Rolls-Royce brand MTU and Fairplay will test an SCR exhaust system on an MTU diesel genset on board a harbour tug in order to verify compliance with IMO Tier III emission requirements that come into force in 2016.

The SCR after treatment system works by neutralising the nitrogen oxides in the exhaust gas
