Decision on first Suez green hydrogen plant in 2023

A final investment decision (FID) on a fullscale green hydrogen plant in Ain Sokhna, near the Suez Canal in Egypt is expected in 2023. The Egypt Green plant will be the first integrated green hydrogen plant in Africa, delivering around 15,000 tonnes of the fuel as feedstock for up to 90,000 tonnes of green ammonia annually.
