CMA CGM completes China’s first LNG SIMOPS bunkering

CMA CGM Symi, a 15,000 TEU LNG-powered containership, was bunkered with LNG at Shanghai Port on 16 March in what was the first ship-to-ship LNG simultaneous bunkering operation (SIMOPS).

CMA CGM and SIPG concluded the first LNG SIMOPS bunkering at a Chinese port at Yangshan Port on Tuesday 15 March.
