First DF shuttle tanker delivered

The world’s first dual-fuel shuttle tanker was delivered from Samsung Heavy Industries’ (SHI) Geoje shipyard in South Korea on 20 January to shipowner and operator Teekay Offshore.

The 130,000dwt Aurora Spirit is the world's first dual-fuel LNG shuttle tanker, and is expected to achieve a 50% reduction in CO2 emissions compared with conventional shuttle tankers. (Credit: Teekay Offshore)
