Danish research project targets main engine efficiency gains

MAN Energy Solutions is participating in a three-year collaborative project to improve the accuracy of predictive maintenance for marine two-stroke engines.

Over ten of Lauritzen’s ships have had data loggers installed onboard, similar to the Yokogawa MW100 unit pictured, to enable high-frequency, two-minute interval logging from bridge systems and engine equipment.
