Innovative retrofit project slashes fuel consumption

A retrofit project paid for jointly by ship owner Hammonia and charterer Intermarine is expected to reduce fuel consumption by 25% across three vessels.

Financing for the retrofit was enabled by a long term, above market rate charter, effectively sharing fuel savings from 'Industrial Ruby' and her two sister ships between the ship owner and charterer.
