It’s knocking on the door of providing half a century of expert insight into maritime energy transition, but the Propulsion & Future Fuels Conference has never had more to offer.
The 2026 edition – the 47th no less – will deliver three days of technical papers, moderated panels and structured networking covering alternative fuels, wind-assisted propulsion, engine efficiency, the commercial realities of energy transition and emissions regulation, not least an analysis of IMO MEPC 85 outcomes, as well as an exclusive tech tour of Hamburg port.
The city’s excellent Empire Riverside Hotel, complete with views over Germany’s largest seaport, will again host this year’s conference and feature high-level discussions on practical pathways for decarbonising shipping, the latest in hull design, low carbon propulsion systems and all the latest on technically viable and low carbon scalable fuels from 8-10 December.
During two conference days attendees will benefit from insightful technical presentations either in streams or plenary sessions, with the event culminating in the technical visit on day three.
