Wärtsilä’s latest market update highlights a business balancing near-term performance strength with longer-term bets on ammonia fuel, energy storage and data centre-driven power demand. 

A strong first quarter, characterised by double-digit order intake of 10%, with orders for marine and energy combined reaching 28% to €1,997 million, provides the foundation.
