Lloyd’s Register has signed teamed up with K Shipbuilding, bound4blue and the Liberian International Ship & Corporate Registry to jointly develop a 50,000 dwt medium-range tanker featuring wind-assisted propulsion systems

The memorandum of agreement, signed during the Posidonia shipping exhibition in Athens, will focus on integrating bound4blue’s eSAIL technology into a next-generation tanker design.
