Zvezda lays keel for first Russian-built Arc7 LNG carrier

The new vessel will be the first Arc7 class LNG carrier to be constructed at a Russian shipyard.

Zvezda Shipbuilding Complex held a keel laying ceremony on 15 June for an LNG carrier ordered by Russian shipping company, PAO Sovcomflot. The vessel is the first of a series of 15 Arc7 class LNG carriers that will be constructed at the shipyard.
