Large order for GTT LNGC tanks
GTT has received a large order from its partner, the Korean Shipyard Samsung Heavy Industries, for the tank design of 14 new LNG carriers.
Twelve are for an American ship owner with the remaining two for an Asian owner.
As part of this order, GTT will design the 174,000m3 tanks of these 14 vessels. Each will be fitted with the Mark III Flex membrane containment system, a technology developed by GTT.
Deliveries are scheduled from the fourth quarter of 2024 to the third quarter of 2026.
