NES launches scalable DC grid system

Norwegian Electric Systems (NES) has launched a DC grid power distribution system that it claims can be used to enable variable generator speed operations on diesel-electric vessels of any size.

The new Odin's Eye DC grid from Norwegian Electric Systems is said to enable all essential equipment to be treated as separate power centres on vessels of any size
