DHL Global Forwarding and Hapag-Lloyd agree on biofuel

Hapag-Lloyd has been testing advanced biofuels since 2020 and offers a carbon reduced transport solution utilising biofuel blends instead of traditional fossil marine fuel oil (MFO).

DHL Global Forwarding has signed an agreement with Hapag-Lloyd for the use of advanced biofuels starting with a shipment of 18,000 teu.
