IACS appoints new secretary general
The International Association of Classification Societies has appointed Robert Ashdown as secretary general, effective 5 May.
Ashdown will join from the Cruise Line International Association, where he is currently secretary general. He will succeed Derek Hodgson, who will retire from the post of permanent secretary at the end of June
