Kongsberg signs "power-as-service" deal

The four Ro-Pax cruise ferries are being built by Spain’s Astillero Hijos de J. Barreras shipyard and Turkey’s Tersan yard and are scheduled for delivery in the second half of 2020.

Technology company Kongsberg has signed a long-term “Power-by-the-Hour” service agreement with coastal cruise operator Havila Kystruten. The ten-year NOK150 million (USD17.6m) contract will cover four new coastal cruise vessels that are currently under construction.
