Matson selects MAN ME-GI for LNG con-ros

Two 3,500teu con-ros under construction for Matson at NASSCO will be powered by MAN's ME-GI dual-fuelled engines

US ship owner Matson Navigation Co has chosen MAN Diesel & Turbo’s ME-GI engines, with exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) for NOx abatement, to power two dual-fuelled containerships to be built by General Dynamics NASSCO.
