    AIPs for 150k cbm LH2 carrier design and LH2 membrane containment system

    Bureau Veritas (BV) has granted an approval in principle (AIP) for the design for a 150,000 cbm liquefied hydrogen (LH2) carrier and an AiP for the design of a cryogenic membrane containment system for liquefied hydrogen (LH2) developed by GTT. The certificates were presented at the Hyvolution Summit 2024 trade show in Paris on 31 January 2024.

    First renewable LNG bunker project set to proceed in Oman

    The world’s first large scale renewables-based green LNG project is set to proceed following the expected appointment of Technip Energies as the EPC contractor in early 2024. The project is expected to create the world’s first supply of green LNG for bunkering, with production of low-emission LNG expected to begin in 2027, eventually ramping up to 1m tonnes per year.

    TotalEnergies Concluded First LNG Bunkering for Angelicoussis VLCCs

    TotalEnergies Marine Fuels has announced that recently completed its first liquefied natural gas (LNG) bunkering operations for two new, dual-fuelled vessels owned by the Angelicoussis Group. The bunkering was significant as it was concluded following the conclusion of bilateral short-term supply deals on the spot market.
