Caterpillar prepares for EPA Tier 4 with SCR

Caterpillar Marine has upgraded its C280 medium-speed diesel engines, employing a selective catalytic reduction (SCR) system to comply with both IMO Tier III and US Environmental Protection Agency Tier 4 emission restrictions.
