GE to power Kawasaki LNG carriers

GE Power Conversion will supply electric power and propulsion systems for two LNG carriers to be built by Kawasaki Heavy Industries (KHI). The carriers will transport LNG from Louisiana, USA and will be completed in 2017 and 2018.

The two new vessels will carry gas from the Cameron LNG project in Louisiana, USA
