J-ENG to collaborate with ClassNK in CBM and digital twin research

Japan Engine Corporation (J-ENG) is to enter into a collaboration agreement covering research into condition-based monitoring (CBM) with ClassNK, Nippon Yushi Kabushiki Kaisha (NYK) and NYK’s research institute, Monohakobi Technology Institute (MTI).

J-ENG’s research and development teams have prioritised the development of Internet of Things (IoT) solutions, which has been a focus second only to research into the new upgraded UE engine platform.
