SERIES 4000 16V ENGINE AND SCR OBTAINS EPA TIER 4 CERTIFICATION

Rolls-Royce has obtained US Environmental Protection Agency Tier 4 certification for its Series 4000 M65L 16-cylinder diesel engine with exhaust aftertreatment solution. The technology company confirms the EPA Tier 4 compliant propulsion solution is now available for order.

The 16V 4000M65L engine has lowered NOx and particulate emissions without the use of a diesel particulate filter, while achieving improved fuel efficiency and lower CO2 emissions.
