Aker Carbon Capture and Northern Lights JV have signed a non-exclusive Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to collaborate on realization of carbon capture and storage (CCS) projects in Norway and across Europe. 

An Australia-based technology developer, Calix, is developing an onboard carbon capture technology that uses lime as feedstock and also captures SOx and NOx emissions.

Thanks to a relatively small branch of its business in Kristiansand, Norway, Air Products & Chemicals may be about to become a forerunner in carbon capture, writes Charlie Bartlett
