Ulstein signs methanol CSOV deal

The new methanol/diesel/battery hybrid CSOVs feature Ulstein’s twin stern and propellor system

Ulstein Design & Solutions has signed a contract with Tersan Shipyard for two methanol-fuelled ULSTEIN SX216 construction service operating vessel designs.

The CSOVs are destined for Netherlands-based Acta Marine and will be the third and fourth vessels in the Acta fleet to feature Ulstein’s TWIN X-STERN solution.
