A new study makes recommendations on how to reduce the risks of using ammonia as a marine fuel

A range of measures are needed to ensure ammonia is safe to use on board ships, according to a new study.

The analysis was undertaken by the Lloyd’s Register (LR) Maritime Decarbonisation Hub and the Mærsk Mc-Kinney Møller Center for Zero Carbon Shipping (MMMCZCS).
