Crowley targets onboard pilot trial of OCCS system in 2024

Crowley has announced plans to collaborate with Carbon Ridge Inc., a US-based developer of carbon capture solutions, to install its first onboard carbon capture and storage solutions (OCCS) unit aboard one of its vessels in 2024. The pilot project is receiving financial support from the U.S. Maritime Administration (MARAD) Maritime Environmental and Technical Assistance (META) programme.
