Greater fuel efficiency is at the top of every ferry company’s agenda

A sector-specific Energy Efficiency Design Index (EEDI) for new ro-ro and ro-pax vessels has been agreed by the IMO Marine Environment Protection Committee – which shipping association Interferry is hailing as a victory for common sense.
