Wärtsilä systems chosen for SIPG bunker vessel

Wärtsilä Gas Solutions has won a deal to supply key systems for a new LNG bunkering vessel under construction at Jiangnan Shipyard for SIPG Energy Shanghai, adding another project to a relationship that has already seen heavy use in Shanghai’s growing LNG-fuel market

The package includes the vessel’s cargo-handling system, its fuel-gas supply arrangements and a Compact Reliq boil-off gas reliquefaction unit, all designed to work as an integrated setup. 

Wärtsilä points to rising LNG demand and the need for more efficient bunkering assets.
