BIMCO: Ship recycling sinks to 20-year low

The recycling of bulkers, tankers and container ships has dropped to the lowest level in 20 years, BIMCO’s Filipe Gouveia has claimed. The decline reflects strong demand, following a series of market shocks, while low orderbooks have kept older ships operating for longer than usual.
