Investment fund acquires RINA minority stake

RINA brings Fondo Italiano d’Investimento on board to help the multinational grow its business internationally

Fondo Italiano d’Investimento is to acquire a minority stake in RINA, a multinational company based in Genoa, Italy.

The deal, which is worth €180 million and is expected to complete this autumn, will see founding company Registro Italiano Navale maintain the majority stake with the rest shared between Fondo Italiano d’Investimento and co-investors (33%) and the company’s management (2.5%).
