Polferries opts for Italian ro-pax design

Ranking as the largest vessel constructed to date by the Visentini shipyard in northeast Italy, the 216m ro-pax Varsovia is scheduled to begin service between Poland and Sweden under the Polferries banner this summer.

Polferries’ parent, the Polish Baltic Shipping Company(PZB), has entered into a ten year charter agreement with the shipbuilder’s owning group, under a deal which includes an option to purchase after six years.
