FFI progresses green ammonia conversion project

Australia’s Fortescue Future Industries (FFI), the 100% renewable green energy and industry company of Fortescue Metals Group, plans to take a final investment decision on converting an ammonia production facility in Brisbane to operate on green hydrogen in 2023. 

FFI plans to take a final investment decision on converting IPL's Gibson Island ammonia facility in Brisbane Queensland to an export-oriented 400,000 tonnes/year green ammonia operation in 2023.
