First methanol-fuelled carriers set to sail

The seven methanol carriers will be the first to feature Man Diesel & Turbo's ME-LGI dual fuel engine, with newly engineered combustion chamber including two liquid gas injection fuel valves and two fuel oil valves

A trio of methanol carriers to be chartered by Waterfront Shipping Co will become the first ocean-going vessels to run on methanol fuel when they are delivered in late April.
