Germans double up on hydrogen testing

Ludwig Prandtl 11 is tipped to be the world’ first hydrogen-propelled research ship.

Funding of almost €50 million has been allocated in Germany for two new research ships which will both study and test maritime energy systems including hydrogen propulsion, writes Tom Todd.
