COSCO confirms order for 12 methanol-fuelled 24,000 teu boxships

An order for seven methanol dual-fuel 24,000 teu containerships has been placed with Nantong Cosco KHI Ship Engineering in Nantong, China.

Chinese container vessel owner COSCO Shipping Holdings confirmed on Monday that it had placed orders for 12 methanol dual-fuel 24,000 teu boxships. The orders have been placed on behalf of its subsidiaries, Orient Overseas Container Line (OOCL) and COSCO Shipping Lines.
