Gunnar H. Hide joins the Ulstein Group

Gunnar H. Hide has been appointed as the new managing director of Ulstein Power & Control. Hide has a solid background from the maritime industry and has among others, worked as a manager in Acel, ABB, Stadt Automation, and IKM Group.
Ulstein Group CEO Gunvor Ulstein is very pleased to have the new managing director in place. “Gunnar Hide has extensive knowledge and long experience from the maritime industry. In addition to his market insight, he has good knowledge of the products and systems that we develop and deliver. He will strengthen our management team and develop the company further, "she says.

Ulstein Group is well known in the market and has ambitions and willingness to develop new systems and new business ideas," says Hide, and continues:

Hide says that had his first job with Ulstein in 1980, at Ulstein Smevik in Herøy, where he was for three years and took his mechanical certificate. Hide is a graduate mechanical engineer from Horten Engineering School.
