O'Reilly and Fyfe appointed directors at Stone Marine Services

Rapidly expanding Stone Marine Services has taken measures to strengthen its management team with the promotion of Alan O'Reilly and Steven Fyfe to the company’s board.
Alan O'Reilly who joined the company as Sales Manager early last year becomes Sales Director and Steven Fyfe, who has worked his way up through various positions in the company becomes Operations Director.
Alan O'Reilly's experience was gained at the Stabiliser and Steering Gear Company, Brown Brothers. He stayed on when the company was sold to Rolls Royce, spending a further ten years with Rolls as Sales Manager for Commercial and Offshore Marine in the UK.
Steven Fyfe’s engineering career brought him from Ulstein UK and he joined Stone Marine Services as a Service Engineer when the company was founded in 2000. His rise has been rapid; Deputy Service Manager in 2003, Service Manager in 2005, General Manager in 2007 and now Operations Director.
David Borthwick, Stone Marine Services Managing Director, commenting on the appointments said, “While Alan and Steven have shown dedication and continued commitment to the company, their elevation to Board Directors is well deserved and will ensure the company’s future prosperity.”
