Yangzijang orders ME-GI engines for Seaspan 7,000-teu series

Ten 7,000-teu dual-fuel container ship newbuildings will be powered by MAN B&W 7G80ME-GI Mk10.5 main engines

Ten container ship newbuildings ordered by Seaspan will be powered by MAN B&W G80ME-GI Mk10.5 main engines, the engine designer confirmed on Tuesday 23 November. The order for the series of 7,000+-teu container vessels from Yangzijang Shipbuilding Group was announced by the liner-shipping company in July 2021.
