92-bore engine added to Wärtsilä X-series

Wärtsilä’s X-series super-long-stroke engine family, of which this X35 was the first to run, has been extended upwards with the announcement of an X92 version

Wärtsilä reports that it is extending its offering in the low-speed X-generation engine series with a new X92 electronically-controlled common-rail engine, intended for large container ships above 8,000TEU capacity.
