DNV approves ammonia bunkering vessel

DNV has awarded an approval in principle to SeaTech Solutions, in collaboration with Oceania Marine Energy, for the design of a next-generation 10,000cbm ammonia bunkering vessel

The vessel, purpose-built for ship-to-ship ammonia bunkering at the Port of Dampier, will deliver up to 9,000cbm of low-carbon ammonia, enough to fuel two round-trip iron ore shipments between Australia and North Asia.
