Mitsui O.S.K. Lines and its partners have successfully completed Japan’s first ship-to-ship bunkering of methanol fuel at anchorage, marking a major milestone in the country’s transition toward cleaner marine fuels

During the operation, methanol fuel was transferred from the Eika Maru, a coastal methanol transport vessel operated by Kokuka Sangyo, to the Kohzan Maru VII, a dual-fuel, ocean-going methanol carrier operated by MOL
