Cleanergy Solutions Namibia has officially inaugurated the country’s first green hydrogen production and refuelling facility, marking a major milestone in the adoption of hydrogen as a maritime and transport fuel

The solar-powered, off-grid site includes a hydrogen electrolyser, refuelling infrastructure and a dedicated Hydrogen Academy.

Supported by the EU’s Global Gateway initiative, with €1.3 billion in committed funding, the project underscores growing European-Namibian collaboration on clean energy.
