Accelleron is calling on the shipping industry to join forces with other hard-to-abate sectors to accelerate the hydrogen economy and unlock carbon-neutral fuels

Launched at London International Shipping Week on 16 September, the company’s first maritime decarbonisation report, Deadlock: What’s Stopping Shipping’s Carbon-Neutral Fuel Transition?, argues that shipping alone cannot achieve net zero emissions by 2050 without pooling demand for green hydrogen with industries such as steel, power generation and fertiliser.
