Wallenius Wilhelmsen has signed a two-year fuel supply agreement with Equinor for mass-balanced bio-methanol, marking a further step in the shipping industry’s shift toward lower-emission fuels

Under the deal, significant volumes of bio-methanol will be produced in Norway and supplied to the company’s methanol-capable vessels at ports in Antwerp and Zeebrugge.
