New advanced biofuels plant in Spain targets H1 2023 start

Repsol is investing EUR200 million into a new advanced biofuels refinery at its Cartagena facility.

Repsol has announced that construction is about to begin on Spain’s first advanced biofuels plant in Cartagena. The EUR200 million refinery will supply up to 250,000 tonnes per year of advanced biofuels to consumers in the marine, aerospace and automotive industries when fully operational.
