Day two of PFF will include a session on optimising drivetrain condition - ‘Protecting the power plant’ features in the propulsion stream.

From stern tubes to cylinders, environmental constraints are placing new challenges on optimising drivetrain condition. Propulsion & Future Fuels addresses these challenges with the help of its expert speakers.

Within the propulsion stream at PFF, ‘Protecting the power plant’ will feature four key presentations from international experts, such as:

  • Don Gregory, Consultant, Gulf Oil Marine, who will be discussing the development of a 2020-cylinder oil formulation
  • Phil Cumberlidge, Greenmarine Business Development Manager, Panolin will present on Environmentally Considerate Lubricants which have been engineered for demanding Marine, Offshore and dockside environments
  • Shell Marine are covering the changing parameters for engine cylinder oil which will combine purchasing options, services and high-quality cylinder oils in a multi-faceted strategy addressing the most pressing customer operational concerns
  • Nikolaos Kotakis, OEM Relationship Manager, Total Lubmarine will be the fourth and final speaker in this session

This year’s Propulsion & Future fuels will include nine sessions over two days, with three parallel sessions giving delegates a choice or propulsion or fuel focused topics meaning the PFF experience can be tailored to your needs. In addition all attendees will be able to expand their networks at multiple networking sessions, conference lunches on each day plus the drinks reception and conference dinner on Wednesday 14th November allowing further discussion in an informal setting.
