Brunvoll chooses Leclanché for ferry retrofit

Brunvoll Mar-El has chosen energy storage firm, Leclanché, to assist on a ferry retrofit project

The MF Rygerbuen passenger and vehicle ferry will be converted from conventional fuel use to a electrically-powered zero emission vessel.

Owned and operated by Rødne Trafikk, Norway’s largest family-owned high speed boat company, the vessel is destined for the 3.5 kilometre trip between Stavanger and Vassøy.
